ACADEMIC POLICY PARAMETERS

  1. The academic year commences with effect from 1st Mar and terminates on 28th Feb of next year. It comprises of two academic terms. First Term is from 1st Mar to 15 Sep and Second Term is from 16th Sep to 28 Feb of every year.
  2. Calendar for the academic year, including academic sessions, seminars, competitions, guest speakers, special training sessions, teachers training programs, Spoken English Courses, extra curricular activities and academic/recreational trips is prepared before the start of the academic year. The relevant information about the events is disseminated to the parents and concerned people, in due course of time.
  3. During First Term, 65 % of the academic syllabus is covered. Schedule of the Syllabus is given to the students/parents before the start of each term.
  4. Subject specialists are preferred for each class.Video library, guest speakers, visiting scholars, and workshops also supplement each subject.
  5. Teachers Training, Personality Development, Practical Oriented Teaching, Extra-Curricular Activities, and Good Disciplinecontinue to be our Hallmark.
  6. Time / Periods to all subjects are allocated according to the importance and difficulty level of Each subject.
  1. Second Term is mostly devoted to make up weak areas, revision and practice tests.
  2. After School Classes and Summer Vacation Camps is used to make up deficiencies of slow learner students as and where required.
  3. Inter Houses Competitions are conducted during Second Term, however extra curricular activities continue throughout the year.
